Strn3^{tm1b(KOMP)Wtsi}/Strn3^{tm1b(KOMP)Wtsi} mutants are recovered in expected ratios at E7.5 but appear smaller than littermates. Although the primitive streak has formed, no morphological node or other hallmarks typical of E7.5 (i.e. headfolds) are present. Both LacZ reporter and RT-PCR indicate wide-spread expression with notable absence in the yolk sac. Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/Strn3
