| Caption | Rpainem1(IMPC)J/ Rpainem1(IMPC)J embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5. Homozygous mutants are recovered at E3.5 in expected ratios and appear as normal blastocysts. Mutants hatch from the zona and form outgrowths with few trophectoderm cells. RT-PCR indicates limited expression during preimplantation but robust post-implantation expression.
