Ranbp2^{tm1.1(KOMP)Vlcg}/Ranbp2^{tm1.1(KOMP)Vlcg} embryos cannot be recovered at E7.5 (0/31), nor are there excess resorption sites. Homozygous mutants are recovered at slightly lower than expected ratios at E3.5 and appear as dying morula. Mutants fail to hatch from the zona, never reaching a morphological blastocyst stage. RT-PCR indicates robust expression. Knock-in LacZ also shows robust expression in gastrulation stages. Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/Ranbp2
