Caption | Znhit1em1(IMPC)J/Znhit1em1(IMPC)J mutants are able to form blastocysts and hatch in extended culture, but cannot be recovered at E7.5. Analysis at E3.5 showed that mutant embryos have fewer SOX2+ cells and SOX17+cells than wild-type embryos, and NANOG is aberrantly expressed in trophectoderm. RT-PCR showed the robust expression of Znhit1 in wildtype and heterozygous blastocysts, but not mutant embryos. Additional information at websites.umass.edu/jmager/znhit1 | ||||
