Genes
GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Vcp-rs PCR amplified length variant VcpCod2F and VcpCod2R
Notes
  • Experiment
Mouse with hamster hybrid cell line HYBX contains the mouse X Chromosome as the only mouse chromosome. A PCR amplified product of the expected size for Vcp-rs was produced in cell line HYBX, thus indicateing that Vcp-rs is located on the X Chromosome. This finding supports the genetic mapping of Vcp-rs to the X Chromosome.
