  A whole genome survey of tumor DNAs from (FVB/N x CAST/Ei)F1 mice were analyzed for LOH using SSLP markers. A significant association between allelic loss on mouse Chromosome 4 with the tumor phenotype was indicated. The region of LOH was in distal mouseChromosome 4 and was given the symbol Loh3. Significantly, more CAST/Ei alleles were lost then FVB/N alleles.
