    Restriction analysis of a 110kb segment of genomic DNA from BAC clones 143E21 and 222L15 enabled the following order of loci to be determined on mouse Chromosome 6; between the loci is the physical distance: D6Rck353 - 70kb - D6Rck354 - D6Rck355 - 15kb -D6Rck357. In a genetic cross it was shown that Grid2 segregated without recombination with D6Rck354 and D6Rck355, therefore suggesting that this region may include the gene that encodes the Grid2Lc phenotype.
