  Authors identified a QTL associated with triglyceride and VLDL/LDL cholesterol levels by analysis of (HcB-19 x C57BL/10ScSnA)F2, (HcB-19 x C3H/DiSnA)F2 and (C57BL/6J x M. spretus)F1 x C57BL/6J mice. The single QTL, Txnip, was found linked to D3Mit101 in a 2.7 cM region bound proximally by D3Mit76 and distally by D3Mit75.
