Notes
  • Experiment
The authors used a physical mapping approach and sequenced a set of overlapping phage clones derived from P1 clones spanning the Hfh11 gene on mouse Chromosome 11. The sequence information was used to locate the previously isolated STS markers D11Bhm52 and D11Bhm53. The order of the genes and markers on mouse Chromosome 11 were as follows: Centromere - 5' - Rtg4 - 3' - D11Bhm52 - 3' - Hfh11 - 5' - D11Bhm53 - 3' - Nadc1 - 5' - Telomere. The intergenic distance between Nadc1 and Hfh11 is about 10kb, and between Hfh11 and Rtg4 is about 8kb.
