Kcna2 PFGE 9.3, 12.18
Kcna10 PFGE 12.18
Notes
  • Experiment
Analyis of YACs subjected to pulsed field gel electrophoresis (EagI digest) indicated that Kcna3 is positioned 5' of Kcna2, that the two genes are separated by approximately 60kb, and that the genes are oriented in a head-to-tail manner on mouse Chromosome 3. Through chromosome fragmentation/pulsed field gel electrophoresis analyis of YAC clone 12.18, Kcna2 was found to be about 90kb 3' of Kcna8, with the two genes in a head-to-tail orientation. The overall order of loci is presented as: 5' - Kcna3 - 60kb - Kcna2 - 90kb - Kcna8 - 3'.
