Kcna5 PFGE 12.12
Notes
  • Experiment
Analyis of YACs subjected to pulsed field gel electrophoresis (BssHII disgest) indicated that Kcna6 is positioned 5' of Kcna1, that the two genes are separated by approximately 80kb in a head-to-tail manner on mouse Chromosome 6. Through chromosome fragmentation/pulsed field gel electrophoresis analyis of YAC clone 12.12, Kcna1 was found to be in a head-to-tail orientation with Kcna5, with Kcna5 positioned about 110kb 3' of Kcna1. The over all order of loci is presented as: 5' - Kcna6 - 80kb - Kcna1 - 110kb - Kcna5 - 3'.
