• Experiment
  The direct sequencing of restriction fragments derived from a double stranded genomic clone indicated that Slc19a1 is separated from Col18a1 by a physical distance of approximately 2kb on mouse Chromosome 10. The genes are transcribed in the opposite orientation. Furthermore, both genes show increased amplification in L1210/83 cells which contain a structurally abnormal mouse Chromosome 10.
