  • Experiment
    Sequence derived from a BAC including the Smn1 locus, mapping to mouse Chromosome 13, was used to screen an EST database. ESTs associated with two novel loci on the BAC were identified: Msmac1 and MsMac1l. The Msmac1 gene is reported tomap 10.6kb upstream of mouse Smn1.
