Notes
  • Experiment
Primary thymic lymphomas induced by gamma rays in (C57BL/6J x BALB/cJ)F1 mice and (BALB/cJ x C57BL/6J)F1 mice were examined for allelic loss using a number of mouse Chromosome 4 markers. The Tlsr2 tumor suppressor region mapping was centered at D4Mit205b.

10.20.2015_djr Curator Note: Because Tlsr2 was originally mapped in J:31797 in 1996 using
(C57BL/6J x RF/J)F1 mice, which differ from the population used here, we consider the current study a separate mapping experiment and have named this QTL Tlsr10.

A new critical region/quantitative trait locus involved in thymic lymphomagenesis, Tlsr3, was placed between D4Mit203 and D4Mit68.
