Genes
GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Etn1 PCR amplified length variant
Cacng2 PCR amplified length variant
Notes
  • Experiment
The presence of a spontaneous proviral insertion (Etn1) in intron 2 of the novel Cacng2 gene was demonstrated by PCR amplification of early transposon long terminal repeats and flanking DNA from B6C3Fe-stg/stg, C57BL/6J-stgwag/stgwag, and (B6C3Fe-stg x C57BL/6J-stg<wag)F1 compound heterozygous mice. Insertion products were not derived from PCR of wild type (+/+) C57BL/6J, A/J, or MRL mice which lack stargazer (stg) mutations on mouse Chromosome 15.
