Notes
  • Experiment
The segregation of genes that may contribute to the susceptibility of Theilers murine encephalomyelitis in mice were analyzed in (BALB/cByJ x DBA/2J)F1 x BALB/cByJ and DBA/2J backcross progeny using microsatellites from Chromosomes 3, 6 and 17. Significant association of Tmevd2 with mouse Chromosome 3 marker D3Mit156 was observed. The authors indicated that Tmevd2 mapped 1.1 cM proximal of D3Mit101. The authors hypothesize that Tmevd2 and mouse Eae3 may in fact be the same locus.
