The number provided is the gentic distance between the markers in cM with the associated standard error: D15Mit12 - 2.0 (1.4) - D15Mit10 - Slc45a2^uw-d - 3.0 (1.7) - D15Mit9 - Myo10 - 4.0 (92.0) - D15Mit6. Authors comment that the genetic recombination of uw with Myo10 eliminates Myo10 as a candidate for the uw phenotype.
