  Direct sequencing of a genomic clone was used to physically map the Igk-J/Igk-C region of mouse Chromosome 6. The following order/approximate distances of loci was reported: 5' - Igk-J1 - ~0.3kb - Igk-J2 - ~0.3kb - Igk-J3 - ~0.3kb - Igk-J4 - ~0.3kb - Igk-J5 - ~2.5kb - Igk-C.
