  The authors used and STS (D16H22S1742E) derived from the mouse Mrpl40 sequence to physically map the mouse Mrpl40 gene to Chromosome 16. D16H22S1742E was previusly used to analyze YAC clones and was integrated into the physical map of mouse Chromosome 16A-B2 between the Hira and Ufd11 genes.
