Xist overlapping clones pXAS-1
Notes
  • Experiment
The authors used a cDNA clone pXAS-1 as well as data from 3' RACE analysis to estimate the relative positions of the Tsix and Xist genes on the mouse X Chromosome. The 3' end of the mouse Tsix gene was located 1.4kb upstream of the major transcription start site of Xist. Data from 5' RACE analysis suggested the presence of the 5' end of Tsix 0.707kb downstream of the major Xist transcription start site.
