  Using 439 meioses from a (SWR x C3H/HeJ) x C3h/HeJ intraspecific backcross, the authors narrowed the Lps^d endotoxin unresponsive phenotype (assocaited elsewhere with the Tlr4 locus) regin to a 3 cM segment of mouse Chromosome 4 bound by D4Mit80 and a cluster od D segments including D4Mit82, D4Mit325, D4Mit244 and D4Mit218.
