• Experiment
  Two independent BAC clones containing the coding region and 3' UTR of the Sik gene in addition to the Eef1a2 gene were isolated. The presence of the genes were confirmed by sequencing. The Sik gene maps to the distal end of mouse Chromosome 2 within 60kb of Eef1a2.
