  • Experiment
    The authors constructed a ~600kb contiguous BAC contig of the Xpr1 region on mouse Chromosome 1. A set of single copy probes derived from a YAC contig of the region as as BAC specific probes were used as STSs in the generation of the physical map of the region. The YAC contig maps showed several discrepancies with the BAC map.
