• Experiment
  The authors have sequnced 37kb 5' and 52kb 3' of the previously published beta-globin sequences on mouse Chromosome 7. They found that the beta-globin locus is surronded by genes encoding olfactory receptors expressed in mouse olfactory epithelium. The order of genes on mouse Chromosome 7 is: Olfr64 - Olfr65 Olfr66 - hbb-y - hbb-bh1 - Hbb-b2 - Olfr67 - Olfr68 - Olfr69.
