  • Experiment
    The authors used X-ray irradiated SJL/J or (SJL/J x CBA)F1 mice or virus infected cell lines as a model of murine myeloid leukemia. A majority of these mice contain Chromosome 2 aberrations. Since the breakpoints of the deletion are different, the authors propose the presence of tumor suppresor genes in the deleted region. Microsatellite mapping of the tumors narrowed the region to approximately a 6.5 cM interval between D2Mit126 and D2Miit395.
