Notes
  • Experiment
Using genotype analysis of the [(BALB/c x C57BL/6)F1 x BALB/c] and the [(A/J x C57BL/6)F1 x A/J] backcross mice and several of the intra-NKC recombinant congenic mice [BALB.B6-Cmv1r(CT 1-18)], the authors were able to localize D6Wum9 distal to Klrb1a and Cd69 but proximal to Prp on mouse Chromosome 6. While no recombination breakpoints were identified between Klra1 and D6Wum9, two backcross animals contained breakpoints between D6Wum9 and Klra8. Thus D6Wum9 was placed proximal to Klra8. Genotyping with D6Wum16 placed it distal to Klra8.
