    The authors used a combination of intercross data and a variety of physical mapping methods to narrow the Mvwf phenotype region to a 300kb segment between D11Moh4 and D11Moh23 on mouse Chromosome 11. YAC and P1 end clones as well as transcripts identified from the conserved syntenic region of human Chromosome 16 were used as markers in the construction of the physical map. The order of the loci on mouse Chromosome 11 is: [Pkd2, Slc35b1] - D11Moh1, D11Moh2 - [D11Moh32, Ngfr, Spop, D11Moh49, D11Moh3, D11Moh33, D11Moh4, D11Mit263] - [Phb, D11Moh5, D11Moh6] - [Gngt2, Phospho1, D11Moh37e - D11Moh7 - D11Moh38e - 3' B4galnt2 - 5' D11Moh39e - D11Moh8 - D11Moh9 - [D11Moh46, Igf2bp1, D11Moh40e, D11Moh41e] - D11Moh10 - D11Moh12 - D11Moh13 - 3' Igf2bp1 - 5' - D11Moh42e -D11Moh14 - D11Moh15 - D11Moh16 - 5' - Gip - 3' - D11Moh17 - D11Moh18 - Snf8 - D11Moh19 - Ube2z - D11Moh21 - Atpv0a1 - D11Moh22 - Ndp52 - D11Moh23 - D11Moh24 - D11Moh43e - D11Moh44e - D11Moh29 - D11Moh30 - D11Moh31 - Hoxb9 - D11Mit54 - Hoxb4 - Hoxb1 -D11Moh48.
