Notes
  • Experiment
The authors used a panel of 25 DNA samples from hybrid mice that carry a deletion chromosome (derived from laboratory mice) and a normal M. spretus chromosome to map the Mpdz gene to mouse Chromosome 4. The order of markers on mouse Chromosome 4 is: Tyrp1 - baf - D4Jkn2 - 3' - Mpdz - D4Rck140 - 5' - Mpdz - dep - D4Jkn1. The map distance from Tyrp1 to D4Jkn1 was previously estimated to be 1.44 +/- 0.39 cM.
