  Authors analyzed the segregation pattern of 26 BXD recombinant inbred strains. The data showed localization of the Fgf9 gene to mouse Chromosome 14 at the Gzme locus. No crossovers were seen with the Gzme locus. One crossover was observed with Tcra, Rnase1 and Myhc proximal to Gzme and one crossover was observed with Msl5-7 and D14Mit5 distal to Gzme. The Gzme - Fgf9 distance was estimated to be 3.2 cM.
