  • Experiment
    The authors constructed a physical map of the 500kb Socs2hg deletion region on mouse Chromosome 10 using YACs and BACs. YAC and BAC end clones were used as STS to aid in the generation of the physical map. The order of the markers on mouse Chromosome 10 is: B405C9T - B40B5T - B9L14S - B405C9S - B396H6S - B40B5S - B11I10T - B9L14T - B396H6T - D10Mit69 - B521M19S - B546P1T - Cradd - 3' - B545C9S - B11I10S - B432H10S - B479N4T - B546P1S - B545C9T - Cradd - 5' - Y157F2R - B432H10T - B479N4S - B520L19T -B308A - B308D2T - B520L19S. The Cradd gene maps within the Socs2hg deletion and is an excellent candidate for the mutation.
