  The authors identified a 3.9kb BamHI genomic fragment containing the Ptprcap gene. Sequencing the 5' UTR of the Ptrrcap gene revealed the presence of the Coro1b gene located 643 bp 5' of the Ptprcap gene. Since the Pptrcap gene had previously been mappedto mouse Chromosome 19, the Coro1b gene was also localized to Chromosome 19.
