• Experiment
  The authors isolated a phage clone containing the Mcpt6 gene. Sequence analysis of this clone revealed the presence of another gene, Tmt, 2.3kb downstream of the Mcpt6 gene. Mcpt6 gene had previously been assigned to Chromosome 17. The Tmt gene has also been localized to Chromosome 17.
