• Experiment
  A 1.23kb fragment was PCR amplified and sequenced from the BACs 87P12 and 93J12. Sequence analysis showed overlap between the 3' end of the Slc12a4 gene and the promoter region of the Lcat gene. Previous mapping of the Lcat gene to Chromosome 8 allowed the conclusion that the physically linked Slc12a4 also maps to mouse Chromosome 8.
