Tnni3 overlapping clones, direct sequencing
Tnnt1 overlapping clones, direct sequencing
Notes
  • Experiment
The authors were able to clone and sequence a continuous genomic segment and show close linkage between the Tnni3 and Tnnt1 genes. The two genes lie in tandem 5' to 3' orientation. Sequence analysis revealed that the Tnni3 gene is located 2.332kb upstream of the transcription start site of the Tnnt1 gene. Since the Tnni3 gene has previously benn mapped to mosue Chromosome 7, the Tnnt1 gene was also localized to Chromosome 7.
