• Experiment
  Sequence analysis of the region downstream of the Hdac1 gene revealed the presence of the Mlp gene. The two genes are positioned in a tail-to-tail orientation and are 128 bp apart. The Mlp gene has previously been mapped to Chromosome 4. This localized the mouse Hdac1 gene to mouse Chromosome 4 as well.
