  The authors constructed a physical map of the beta-globin locus control region, Hbb-ar on mouse Chromosome 7. The physical map revealed the order and distance of the hypersenditive sites (HS) in the locus control region. The order was HS5B - 1.5kb - HS5A- 1.5kb - HS4 - 5kb - HS3 - 5kb - HS2.
