  The Masp2 gene was mapped to Chromosome 4 on the EUCIB backcross with a lod score of 6.28. Fine scale mapping showed that Masp2 mapped to a 0.11 cM region between D4Mit48 and D4Mit160 at the telomeric end of Chromosome 4, 75 cM from the centromere.
