Gnb5 Gnb5flr overlapping clones YLE1294
Myo5a overlapping clones YLE1294
Notes
  • Experiment
YAC based physical mapping showed that Gnb5 and Myo5a are both present on the 750kb YAC clone YLE1294, with Myo5a upstream of Gnb5. The authors also showed that the flr mutation is the result of a dominant negative mechanism of action of a novel product from a hybrid gene that combines the promoter and first two exons of Gnb5 with the C-terminal exons of Myo5a.
