  The authors used the T31 mouse-hamster Radiation Hybrid panel to map the Gabra4 gene to mouse 5 linked to D5Buc46 (LOD = 15.0). This localization is consistent with the data showing co-localization of the human GABRA4 and GABRA1 genes on human Chromosome4 in a region syntenic with mouse Chromosome 5.
