  Analysis of Rabggta genomic sequence in both C57BL/6J-gm/gm and wild type C57BL/6J mice revealed a single nucleotide difference in Rabggta. The difference resulted in a restriction site that could be gentically mapped in the Rabggta^gm mutant and wild type strains. Rabggta and gm showed 100% concordent segregation in 2,462 meioses. Substantial information, including physical mapping data, is provided to indicate that these markers are allelic.
