  the authors used PCR analysis of the region upstream of the Fanca gene on mouse Chromosome 8 and determined that exons 40 to 43 of the Fanca gene overlap with the 3' UTR of the Zfp276 gene. This showed that the two genes overlap with each other in a tail- to - tail orientation.
