Notes
  • Experiment
The localization of the oc (osteoscerotic) mutation to the pericentromeric region of mouse chromosome 19 was indicated in the genotypic analysis of 400 F2 mice in a (B6C3-a/a Atpi6i(oc)/+)F1 x Spretus) X (B6C3-a/a Atpi6i(oc)/+ X Spretus))F1 intercross. The analysis indicated that Atpi6i(oc) mapped to a region flanked by markers D19Mit32 and D19Mit93. Further analysis of 200 (B6C3-a/a Atpi6i(oc)/+) X (B6C3-a/a Atpi6i(oc)/+) F2 mice indicated that the Atpi6i(oc) mutation segregated with D19Mit68.
