• Experiment
  The authors screened a BAC library and identified a clone 063B11 (176 kb) for sequencing. Sequence analysis of the clone identified the presence of Nfkbis, Garnl1 and Aldo1-ps1 genes. The Nfkbia gene had previously shown to be close to the D12Ncvs7 locus. Genscan predictions also identified the presence of an intronless gene Insm2. Northern analysis was then used to confirm that the gene encoded a transcript.
