• Experiment
  The authors constructed a physical map of the Tec locus on chromosome 5 and reported that the Tec gene consisted of 18 exons spanning over 86kb. The Txk gene was located 2.6kb from the last exon of the Tec gene. This linkage between the TEC and TXK genesis conserved in the human genome as well.
