  The authors determined the chromosomal location of the transgene integration site by backcross analysis using the Copeland-Jenkins mapping panel. BAC clones surrounding the integration site were analysed by restriction mapping and sequenced. Sequence analysis revealed the presence of genes at the 5' and 3' end of the transgene. The 3' gene was identfied to be 4933403A21Rik while the 5' gene was identified to be AF233884.
