• Experiment
  The authors used two sets of primers for the Pgam1 gene to map the Pgam1 gene on the T31 radiation hybrid panel to chromosome 19. This was done to avoid interference from the pseudogenes. Data analysis revealed that Pgam1 was 116.16 cR distant to D19Mit52 (LOD > 3.0), which is mapped to 8.0 cM of chromosome 19. However, the rather low LOD score does not confirm an association of Pgam1 with mouse Chromosome 19 markers.
