  The authors used the T31 radiation hybrid panel to map the Plvap gene to chromosome 8. Plvap was linked to the EST locus AV002165 with a lod of 16.0 and to D8Mit359 and D8Mit179 with lod scores of 13.0 and 12.6 respectively. The best fit position for Plvap is between D8Mit179 and D8Mit359.
