Notes
  • Experiment
The authors identified a genomic clone (AF191547) containing the Adprtl2 and Rmrp5 genes. The close proximity of the two genes was also verified by PCR using genomic DNA. The intergenic distance between the start sites for Adprtl2 and Rmrp5 was determined to be 0.113 kb. The orientation of the genes was 3'- Rmrp5 - 5' - 5'- Adprtl2 - 3'. This order and orientation was seen for the human genes as well.
