  The authors analysed 35kb of contiguous sequence from Psme1 and Psme2 genomic region on mouse Chromosome 14. The order and orientation of the genes were determined to be: 5'- 1110028A07Rik - 3' - 5'- Psme1 - 3' - 3'- 1500005A01Rik - 5' - 3'- Psme2 - 5' -5'- FLJ10111 - 3' - 5'- Isgf3g - 3 '. The 3' end of the 1500005A01Rik gene overlaps with the Psme1 gene by 7 bp.
