    The authors narrowed the Kif1cLtxs1 region to a 0.51 cM region between D11Mit90 and D11Die37/D11Die38. The 129S3 and 129/SvEv strains were used to construct the CITB and RPC1-22 BAC libraries respectively. the authors used BACs from these libraries to build a physical map of the Kif1cLtxs1 region. the non-recombinant interval between D11Mit90 and D11Die37/D11Die38 was spanned by two YAC clones 134d8 and 458d4 and a minimum tiling path of BAC clones. The order and orientation of markers in this interval were determined to be: centromere - D11Mit90 - (Pld2, Psmb6) - D11Mit210 - D11Die4 - (Pfn1, Gp1ba, Slc25a11) - D11Die5 - 5' - Eno3 - 3' - (Spag7, Camta2) - D11Die6, D11Die30 - Kif1c - D11Die7 - Rpl37a-ps1 - D11Die9 - D11Die10 , D11Die31 - 5' Rab5ep - 3' - D11Die13 - 3' - Nup88 - 5' - 5' C1qbp - 3' - D11Die32, D11Die33, D11Mit320 - D11Die34 - D11Die14 - 3' - Flana - 5' - D11Die16 - D11Die35 - D11Die17 - D11Die19 - D11Die20 - D11Die40 - D11Die21 - D11Die36 - D11Die22 - D11Die24 - D11Die25 - D11Die26 - D11Die27- D11Die37 - D11Die38.
